March 12/2016 (Ministry of Peace) The Ministry of Peace, in cooperation with the Ethiopian Peace Institute, held a consultation forum with stakeholders who have a role in the peace building process.

At the forum, State Minister for Peace Building and National Reconciliation of the Ministry of Peace Honorable Kayredin Tezera (Dr.) stated that it is the firm position of the government to resolve the conflicts that have occurred different times in our country through dialogue. He added that the issue of peace requires the contributions of all of us and is not left to the government alone. All sections of society should stand together for peace.

Director of the Board of the Ethiopian Peace Institute, Honorable Ambassador Mulugeta Itefa (Dr.) said that our institution has been doing many effective works by facilitating a series of forums to develop a culture of resolving the conflicts that are occurring in Ethiopia through dialogue. He added that since peace is the concern and responsibility of each of us, we should all work together for lasting peace for our country.

Leaders of federal government institutions, civic associations, women's and youth associations, business sector associations, peace and security leaders, political parties and other stakeholders participated in the discussion.
