Ministry of Peace discussed with Mr. Evgeny Terekhin Russian Ambassador to Ethiopia;  on people-to-people relations between the two countries and how to support peace-building works in Ethiopia. 

Hon. Ato Benalf Andualem, Minister of Peace, stated that Ethiopia and Russia have a long historical and cultural relationship that has been preserved at any time of trial. Ato Benalf Andualem asked for strengthening the relationship between the two countries and people, for the support and partnership of Russia for Ethiopia's national, continental, and international activities, as well as for the peace-building activities carried out by the Ministry.  

Mr.Evgeny Terekhin, the Russian ambassador to Ethiopia, said that Russia has always been a partner for Ethiopia; and promised to provide support for the ministry's activities to strengthen the historical relations between the peoples of the two countries. He pointed out that Russia would support Ethiopia's peace-building activities.
