The Ministry of Peace discussed with the German Ambassador in Ethiopia and the leaders of the Standing Committee of Humanitarian Support of the German House of People’s Representatives. The discussion focused on the possibilities of working together to strengthen peace-building activities in Ethiopia and to enhance people-to-people relations and humanitarian support between the two countries. This meeting took place on October 21, 2024, and was organized by the Ministry of Peace.

Hon. Keiredin Tezera (Phd.), the State Minister of the Ministry of Peace, emphasized the long-standing diplomatic relations between the two countries and requested their strengthening. He also provided a detailed explanation of the ministry's peace-building activities.

The German Ambassador in Ethiopia, Jen Henefeld, and his delegation appreciated the ministry's efforts in building sustainable peace and the country's humanitarian work in hosting a large number of international refugees. They expressed their country's willingness to provide appropriate support.
