June 11/2024 Ministry of Peace State Minister for Peace Building and National Consensus Honorable Dr. Kairedin Tezera held a discussion with the Honorable Ms. Nezha Alaoui, the Moroccan Ambassador to Ethiopia. 

Honorable Dr. Kairedin Tezera said during the discussion, Ethiopia and Morocco have a long-term relationship and said that the two countries have a long-standing relationship in terms of culture, religion and other people-to-people relations.

Honorable Dr. Keiredin Tezera added that the Ministry of Peace is carrying out various activities to ensure lasting peace, to strengthen national consensus and to strengthen basic nation-building activities. He added that today's discussion will create a favorable condition for the future activities of Ethiopia and Morocco on peace building and solidarity.

 

The Honorable Ambassador of Morocco to Ethiopia, Mrs. Nezha Alaoui, expressed her appreciation for Ethiopia's ability to overcome the challenges it is facing and its ability to withstand challenges, and said that Morocco will learn a great lesson from this. 

Nezha Alaoui add that, Ethiopia and Morocco will continue to work together on peace building and national consensus  and will open the King of Morocco Mohammed V Foundation in Addis Ababa to strengthen the relationship between the two countries and invited a delegation including leaders of the Ministry of Peace and religious leaders to visit Morocco. 

In addition to this, Ambassador Ms. Nezha Alaoui  said that  we have a plan  to establish a joint commission.
